so last night i went to see ghost of a saber tooth tiger at great scott in allston. best $25 i ever spent/on-the-spot decision i ever made. they were good. i didn’t give a shit that no one wanted to go with me. i went alone. great. such a big fan of theirs.
sean was hilarious and told some awesome stories. i really borrow a lot from him musically and last night reminded me why.  really, really cool chords and underrated guitar player in general. he really is the shit.
charlotte was a real babe and was also kinda funny. i was thoroughly impressed with her instrumental diversity. she played accordian, bass, xylophone, recorder, and an array of fiendish shakers and other percussion thingies. i was especially impressed with her bass playing. she was fuckin’ good.
they also had this dude playing trumpet and french horn who was rad. he was hitting some high notes like maynard ferguson or something.
awesome show. if anyone gets a chance to see them, i highly recommend doing so.
